Altaris Signature Suite

Your Private Quarters

The Altaris Suite represents the fullest expression of the Altaris Paris commission: a private residence of extraordinary architectural intelligence and historical material, occupying 205m² across the building's highest residential floor on the Seine-facing elevation. The principal salon's boiserie panelling — original to the Haussmann-era building, restored by a team of Parisian gold-leaf conservators — frames a view that extends from Notre-Dame on the left horizon to the Eiffel Tower on the right. A private library, curated by a Left Bank antiquarian bookseller, occupies one wall of the study. A terrace positioned above the Seine's northern embankment; a master bathroom in Calacatta marble with a freestanding copper bath and a walk-in rainfall shower. A dedicated butler manages every element of the suite's operation, twenty-four hours a day.

Paris, France

Where Elegance Meets the Seine.

Set within a Haussmann-era palace on the Île Saint-Louis, Altaris Paris is the city's most discreet and coveted address. Restored over seven years by artisans from the Compagnons du Devoir, every gilded cornice and parquet floor tells the story of a Paris that has never ceased to enchant.

Our Restaurants

The Art of the Table

From the crisp snap of a morning baguette to the slow-poured richness of a Bordeaux at midnight, every meal is a tribute to the city’s culinary pulse.

  • Le Tableau

    • French

Brasserie Altaris is the social heart of the hotel — a high-ceilinged, art-filled room where the city comes to see and be seen. Chef Élise Marchand's menu honours the canon of the grand Parisian brasserie while pushing it forward: Dover sole grenobloise, pressed foie gras, a profiterole soufflé that has become a city talking point.

  • La Terrasse

    • Contemporary French

An open-air dining pavilion occupying the seventh floor of Altaris Paris. At sundown, the iron silhouette of the Eiffel Tower becomes a backdrop for Chef Marchand's seasonal terrace menu — lighter compositions designed for the evening air, guided entirely by what arrived at the kitchen door that morning.

  • Le Bar Altaris

    • Bar & Cocktails

The bar at Altaris Paris is a place of quiet ceremony. Behind a counter of veined Burgundy marble, our head mixologist transforms the canon of the classic French cocktail into something precisely contemporary — absinthe rinsed coupes, calvados highballs, and a house Negroni aged in Limousin oak.

Landmarks of History

The city reveals its true character when the crowds fade. We open doors to private ateliers and hidden courtyard gardens that remain invisible to the passing eye. Feel the weight of a vintage key in a lock or walk the limestone corridors of a family-run vineyard. Every encounter is a quiet dialogue with the heritage of France, curated with intuitive grace.

  • Private Seine at Sunset

The Seine after six o'clock has a quality of light that painters have been attempting to describe for four centuries. A private boat resolves the problem entirely.
