The Atlas has accumulated this quality slowly — through the consistency of Dominic Vasquez's programme and the particular quality of the room itself. The pressed-tin ceiling, the worn brass of the bar rail, the sound that a room full of intention makes. The cocktail list is organised by navigation theme — departures, crossings, arrivals — and moves from aperitivo to digestivo with the logic of a well-plotted journey. Come early, stay late.
