The Kengo Suite
The Kengo Suite occupies one of the building's highest residential floors — designed by Kengo Kuma's studio with the full rigour of their residential architecture brief. The principal salon is a study in considered emptiness: Oya stone floors, washi-panelled walls, and a view from the Imperial Palace gardens to the distant ridge of the Hakodate range that redefines the concept of a Tokyo room. A private dining room seats eight; the master bathroom houses both a deep hinoki wooden soaking tub and a walk-in stone shower. A dedicated butler manages every element of the suite's operation.
