The Covent
The Covent takes its name from Covent Garden — a debt acknowledged in the room's approach to theatre and craft. Colefax and Fowler chintz wall coverings — hand-printed on a ground of warm cream — enclose a room furnished by Mayfair workshops: a king bed framed by bespoke bedside tables in gilded bronze and pale oak, a writing desk with a reading lamp in hand-blown glass, a chaise longue positioned to face the courtyard. The Statuario marble bathroom houses a walk-in rainfall shower and a freestanding double-ended tub. Evening light falls across the stone courtyard below, quiet and particular in the way only London courtyards are.
